- Nymotion "presale" support and services can take 1 - 3 man-days and are provided on a no-charge basis for OEM applications. Factory Automation applications are quoted on a time and materials basis. Any drive/controller supplier can "move an axis" using a canned demo routine. This said, there are few "canned" applications that address a unique application. The development tools must be in place, stable and reasonably easy to use. A running problem in the motion control arena is that one person's "easy-to-learn / easy-to-use" development language and tools is another person's nightmare.
- Nymotion created a Windows application called Nycom Tools for TML in 2010 and the package has been in use and under constant refinement. The current version is Rev 12.2. This package is offered free of charge to Nymotion customers. Nycom Tools for TML requires Technosoft EasyMotion Studio setups and it closely integrated with Technosoft's C++ Development Library. NT for TML allows individual or groups of axis to to excercised in a Windows environment. The program includes an easy-to-use electronic gearing setup for more advanced applications. NT for TML is the ideal environment to test and evaluate NYT1X and NYT3X series drive/controllers in a production TML environment.
- A Cycle Test utility is built into the application.
- In addition to a variety of EasyMotion Studio Windows "control panels" Nymotion uses NT for TML to setup and execute advanced application and performance demonstrations in OEM applications.
- NYT Series machine controllers based on Technosoft PIM modules are the most flexible, high performance drive/controllers on the market. Brushed and brushless servomotors, /256 microstepping axis and hybrid servo actuators are setup and driven side-by-side using identical hardware with "different" parameter setups. The TML motion program environment and our NYT-AP syntax are identical.
